Empire of Storms: Ch 50-56 Spoiler-Free Deep Dive | Vernon's Vengeance, Crochan Curses, & Marsh Madness
Welcome back for another episode of the Booked on Fantasy Podcast! This week, we continue our Empire of Storms coverage with chapters 50-56.
Elide and Lorcan continue on their journey to Eyllwe, but first they have to deal with an unexpected trap from Vermin Vernon. Meanwhile in the Stone Marshes, Aelin and her court can't shake its unsettling feeling, but Manon reveals the chilling truth of the Crochan curse leading to pivotal connections about the witches' role in the larger war. But ain't nothing can ever just be easy! While they do find a mysterious wyrdmarked chest, they are unexpectedly forced into a battle with 500 ilken. In the end, Aelin pulls up the full force of her fire, while Elide and Lorcan bear witness to the enormous power of the queen who was promised.
