Jesinia makes a crucial discovery in her research regarding the importance of the second Krovlan uprising, and the only scribe who can help them now is Papa Sorrengail! Meanwhile, in preparation for the impending war with the venin Professor Devera announces some new classes; the most notable being Signet Sparring with none other that Professor Xaden Riorson. Violet recruits Dain in helping retrieve her father's research, and thank Zihnal he is successful. But Violet's luck doesn't run out yet, not only does she and the squad successfully take down Garrick during signet sparring, but Violet finally cracks the code and unlocks the book that holds her father's research.
