Every episode, we deep dive with discussions of themes, characters, plots, predictions and more for the book series we are currently covering.
We are a spoiler free podcast meaning we are brand new readers of the books we are covering. So, have no fear, you don't need to have finished the whole series to start listening! Our current book series is Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, and we plan to cover Onyx Storm when it comes out on January 21st, 2025. We have also covered HBO's House of the Dragon in the past

The Assassin’s Blade: The Assassin and the Desert | Review & Reaction
Welcome back to the Booked On Fantasy Podcast! Today we are diving into the third short story of The Assassin’s Blade titled “The Assassin and the Desert” Celaena has arrived at the Red Desert for training as punishment from Arobynn, except wait….THIS IS NIIIIIICE! Expecting to find a cruel and competitive group of assassins ruled under an iron first, Celaena is pleasantly surprised to discover the Silent Assassins are kind and compassionate. Her time in the desert leads to new friendships, stealing a very expensive horse, and a tragic betrayal. Despite this, Celaena leaves the Silent Assassins feeling hopeful that although things have changed, maybe, just maybe they might be for the better.
As usual, our episode deep dive will include chapter summaries with our “Book Report,” an in depth analysis of key events, and our favorite moments from today’s chapters.
