House of the Dragon: S1 E9 Recap & Analysis | Run Aegon Run, Foot Fetishes, and Rhaenys’ Big Surprise
“All Hail King Aegon!”...if you can find him. Welcome to episode 9 of our House of the Dragon recaps! The Greens are bubbling with excitement at the fruition of their plan to usurp Rhaenyra for the Iron Throne. Despite their best attempts to imprison or kill anyone who dared contest Aegon’s claim, they missed one VITAL player. In an epic final scene, Rhaenys bursts through the floorboards, blasts the Greens with some horrific dragon breath, and flees King’s Landing for Dragonstone.
As usual with our episodes, you can expect a full summary with “The State of the Realm”, key insights and analyses in the “King’s Council,” and the continuation of Team Black v. Team Green in the “Fantasy Court of Law!” The Fantasy Court of Law continues to review the gathered evidence to determine which team has a stronger claim to the Iron Throne.
